Since the foundation of China, multiple times of basic education curriculum revolution has been carried out. At the same time, syllabus and curriculum standards have also prepared a revised for several times. In the first half of2011, the Ministry of Education promulgated the newly revised Compulsory Education Curriculum Standard of Physics. Textbooks is one of the important parts of the curriculum, and it bases on curriculum standards. In order to adapt to the requirements of the New Curriculum, a new round of textbooks revision has been widely expanded. As the necessary method and means in physics teaching, experiments should be paid more attention to during the process of textbooks revision. Therefore, a comparative study on the experiments of Chinese and Japanese junior high school physics textbooks has extremely practical significance.This paper consists of six parts. The first part, introduction, describes the causes, research status, and research contents and methods. The second part is theoretical foundation. The third part is about the research on the form and structure of Chinese and Japanese junior high school physics textbooks, it introduces the section composition, compares and analyzes the number of experiments, experimental equipment, experimental illustration and experimental Language. The fourth part is mainly on the construction of the compare index system in the experimental ease of physics textbooks from breadth and depth of the two dimensions. The fifth part focuses on the comparative study on the experiments of Chinese and Japanese junior high school physics textbooks. The research includes the experimental classification,the number, distribution, the experimental difficulty and other aspects of the comparative analysis. The sixth part is about results analysis and discussion. Through the analysis and discussion of the research results, the paper put forward the advantages of the Japanese junior middle school physics textbook which can be used for reference, in order to play a positive role in the construction of the junior middle school physics textbook in our country.
