| Abstract:With the rapid advance of urbanization, cities of the floating population increase sharply, according to the floating population in China development report2013, China’s floating population has reached236million in2012., The education problem of floating population children become more and more the focus problem of society related to urbanization, the equal education and the stability of social harmony. We will carry out a comprehensive interdisciplinary research on the education of the children of floating population in China in the paper. First of all, through the investigation and literature reading, we analyze and sort out the current situation, the foreign policy of compulsory education,the historical development of the compulsory education policy, improving policy system of urban and rural education of children of floating population in foreign country, in order to point out that the children of floating population at present receive unfair education opportunities, and that the quality of the education of the children of floating people is relatively low, and that the cost of the education is relatively high. Secondly, we discuss the root causes of the problem. It mainly includes three aspects:one is the effect of the policy, including the imperfection of policy itself and the implementation being not in place; the two is the influence of social economic environment and public opinion; the three is the impact of local government, schools, teachers and the children themsleves of floating population. Finally, we put forward the solution methods of the education of the children of floating population in China from the innovation of education management system, the reform of the educational investment system, the elimination of the household registration system, construction of multi subject of the education, the promotion of equal education process and strengthening media propaganda and supervisory responsibility etc. Picture,8tables,61references. |
