Since the reform and opening, our country is in the period of social and economic transformation. A lot of peasants begin to migrant to city fromcountryside. They congregate into a special collective--migrants. With thetendency of family migration, the migrant children as the second migrants are growing up in the city. So the compulsory education problem of them appears.Because of domiciliary institution and family economic, a part of migrant children cannot study in the state-owned school. Many schools for migrant children come out in order to cater to them. While, the condition or education quality of these schools is inferior to that of the governmental's. The destitute migrants with low status and literacy cannot supply good family education too. As we all know, compulsory education is the foundation of the entire education system. It is not only for the individual development but also for continuous development of the society that children receive equal compulsory education.Through investigating the migrant school and family, the author reveals the compulsory education of the migrant children, analyzes the cause and puts forward to feasible suggestions.
