With the development of the society, the market demanding for qualified personnel has taken place greatchanges. The market needs more creative talents and inter-disciplinary talent, so the educators need toupdate the concept of education and change the teaching method. The author is a teaching three years ofsenior high school biology teachers, through the teaching practice and experience, found that the inquirylearning in senior high school biology teaching situation is not optimistic, especially in classroom teachingof biological experiments are based on the teacher experiment, students’ listening learning experiments.Inquiry-based learning can be carried out in the senior high school biology class, if we can developsmoothly, to carry out the later will have what kind of impact on students, this is the author want to throughthis paper confirmed the problem.Experiment is the basis of the biological sciences. Inquiry learning in biology classroom, especially inexperiment teaching, is particularly prominent. Although the new curriculum reform of biological materialshave the design aspects of a series of changes, increased the proportion of exploratory experiment teaching,to stimulate students interest in learning and exploring ability. But the current college entrance examinationsystem is still based on the discretion of the scores as the only standard to judge a student good or bad, thismakes high school leaders and teachers put too much effort into the interpretation of knowledge, andneglect the cultivation of student’s other capabilities, thus caused the social demand for talents and thecontradiction between senior high school education reality system.In this thesis, the theoretical basis of inquiry learning as a starting point, through an exploratory test caseapplication of this theory to the teaching of biology, especially in senior high school biology classexperiment application to confirm inquiry learning in biological experiments in classroom carry out theeffect. In this thesis, literature, questionnaire, interview, experiment and other methods to study the issue.Research can bring hope through this project as a senior high school biology class experiment some life,able to adapt to the new curriculum requirements, can cultivate social needs talent.
