Suicides wish to die, while people who cut seek to live on survive, although self-harm andsuicide have this inherent difference, self-harm is still a kind of complex and dangerous behavior. Thesestudies at home and abroad found that self-injury behavior is predictive for suicidal behavior. On the basisof domestic and foreign research, this study assessed junior school students, using DERS of Professor GratzK L and Self-destructive behavior questionnaire.this essay is aimed at analyzing the present self-injurybehavior situation statistically and exploring the relationship between emotional adjustment difficulties andself-injury behavior. After statistical analysis, the researcher has a clear understanding about the presentsituation of teenager’s self-injury behavior, and also verifed the hypothesis through the analysis. Aftermuch discussion we came at some conclusion.First, the grade,home address and nature of the school had significant differences in emotiondysregulation for junior school students.Second, there were significant differences on grade and school nature in self-harm behavior ofjunior school students.Third, the junior school students emotion dysregulation and self-harm destructive behavior aresignificant positive correlation; the junior school students are lack of effective emotion regulation strategiesand difficult to implement the intended target, which has a significant positive prediction to the self-harmbehavior.
