In recent years, the relevant state education departments in order to adapt to the new era ofcomprehensive implementation of quality education, inherit and carry forward the excellent culture of theChinese nation, has been paid more and more attention to the calligraphy education in primary and middleschool students. Study experts from Ministry of education formulated the "calligraphy educationguidelines"(hereinafter referred to as the "program"), the notice pointed out:"the language courses inliteracy and writing teaching is the basic content of calligraphy education in primary and secondary schools,in order to improve the Chinese characters writing ability as the basic goal, to writing practice as the basicway, moderate calligraphy aesthetics and the culture of calligraphy education". However, this policy is notimplemented in large range,and therefore provides some research space and the significance of the researchfor this article. Then, this paper mainly by five parts, the thesis has explained, from the government, therelevant national institutions of education measures, to calligraphy teacher professional ability, teachingmethods,teaching materials such as concrete, significance and function of macroscopic understanding ofcalligraphy education in primary school, the primary school calligraphy education on a deeper levelexplanation, in order to determine the importance and practical significance of calligraphy education incontemporary quality education in primary school.This paper takes City of Luohe Calligraphy Education in primary school as the research object, theliterature research method, questionnaire method,interview method and data analysis method used in theresearch process, and through social practice specific, for more than twenty primary school in Luohe City,the more important than10municipal primary school questionnaire. In this one, randomly selected fromdifferent grades of280students (20per school) and some teachers as the research object, to understand theteachers’ teaching and students’ learning calligraphy dynamic situation through the investigation on thestudents and teachers. Through the survey found, the calligraphy education in primary school has manyproblems, such as: some schools of calligraphy education in primary school is not enough,inadequateunderstanding of students and parents to the calligraphy education, backward educational ideas andeducational purpose is not clear,lack of professional teachers, teaching materials and teaching methods are not scientific etc.. Therefore, based on the actual investigation data and feedback, carry on overall and deepanalysis, and the combination of serious thought the current domestic research on Calligraphy Education inprimary school, and combined with my experience and educational practice to learn calligraphy,calligraphy education in Luohe primary school, puts forward some corresponding countermeasures, hope tothe calligraphy education in primary school has certain practical significance and popularization.
