The curriculum reform of high school mathematics is now in full swing,and because ofthat,traditional teaching methods can no longer meet the requirements of New CurriculumStandard.Learning styles,such as independence,cooperation and exploration are actively proposedby New Curriculum Standard,and"group cooperation learning" is one of the most effective andfrequently-used teaching methods in today’s class teaching.Now this model of teaching is popularamong more and more teachers.Plus,this way of teaching contributes a lot to improving theatmosphere of class,makes a difference in forming students’ active thinking,and strengthens theircooperative consciousness and communicative competence.Nevertheless,this teaching way rarelyhas actual effect and cannot be well applied to real class teaching,because some of the teacherswho use this teaching method can not actually understand the significance of cooperationlearning and aren’t able to put it into effect,and as a result,group cooperation learning gets into adilemma of misunderstanding.So this thesis is of important theoretical value and practical guidingsignificance for the study of the application of group cooperation learning in senior high schoolmathematics teaching.The whole text is divided into four chapters:Chapter One:This section has a discussion about the reason why this project is studied,whatmethods have been adopted in the study,and the current situation of group cooperation learning inChina and foreign countries.Group cooperation learning is proposed under the background of theNew Curriculum Reform.Considering the analysis of the current situation of teaching,we areconvinced that group cooperation learning is suitable for today’s teaching situation,and meets therequirements of current teaching.Chapter Two:This section theoretically analyses group cooperation learning.By expoundingthe relevant theories of cooperative learning and related literature review in China as well asforeign countries,this chapter provides the project with theoretical basis,and ensures that seniorhigh school math teachers have an utter understanding about group learning.Chapter Three:This chapter contains multi-side and multi-view investigations and analysesabout the current situation of group cooperation learning carried out in senior high school mathteaching.This investigation research,by questionnaire surveys,interviews conducted in severalschools where the teaching way of "group cooperation learning" has been adopted,as well as mypersonal teaching experience,aims to investigate and explore the current situation and problems arising in the process of high school math teaching that adopts the method of group cooperationlearning,find out the cause,put forward solutions,and prepare myself for the best use of thismethod in my future teaching work.Meanwhile,it may provide other teachers with relativereference and guidance.Chapter Four:This chapter points out the advantages of using group cooperation learning insenior high school math teaching,indicates the boundedness of this research paper,and illustratesa fantastic vision of the future.
