With the reform of opening up and continuous improvement of living standards, the quality of education has become a focus of concern in today’s society. As advocating fair education and the dominant position of students today, home-school cooperation and teach er professional development is the hot topic. The so-called home-school cooperation refers to schools, teachers and parents. They work together to promote students who will become ideals, morality, culture, and discipline of socialist builders and successors. The so-called teachers’professional development means to improve quality of teachers themselves, including four educational philosophy, professional knowledge, professional competence and professional affection. Is there a correlation between home-school cooperation and teacher professional development? If there is a correlation between them, how does home-school cooperation promote teacher professional development? This is the starting point of this study.The problems of this study include the relationship between home-school cooperation and teacher professional development; how does home-school cooperation influence teacher professional development and the degree of the influence. The main purpose of this study is to help carry out scientific school cooperation, and establish contact to home-school cooperation and teacher professional development systematically, improving the quality of teachers by promoting healthy home-school.There are four chapters in this essay. The first chapter is the introduction, the main causes of the problems involved in the proposed study on the status of home-school cooperation and teacher professional development, research purpose, meaning and methods. The second chapter introduces the background and current situation in ZH primary school in Changchun city. The third chapter is the main part of the paper, describing the impact of home-school cooperation. The correlation analysis includes the effect of home-school cooperation, the concept of home-school teacher education, professional knowledge, professional competence and professional affection positive impact. The fourth part focuses on the content and effects of Ⅱhome-school approach to professional development of teachers. The last part of the course pointed ZH elementary school cooperation still existing problems and propose solutions.We can get the following conclusions in this essay. There is a relationship between home-school cooperation and teacher professional development. The home-school cooperation can improve teacher professional development. The school takes five kinds of methods in promoting the professional development of teachers (home visits, parents, QQ and blog, website, instructors), and have a positive impact on teachers’professional development. In terms of the content of home-school cooperation, ZH primary advocates for compensatory education and resource sharing, promoting the professional development of teachers to a certain extent.The research promotes some advices from the home-school cooperation experience in other countries. First, home-school cooperation advocates diverse ways. Secondly, carry out the project activities in the subject so that the subject project activity systematically and scientifically. Thirdly, enhance the quality of the teaching profession, promoting home-school parent involvement.
