To create a real situational teaching on the basis of the surveys and analysis concerning situational teaching is an effective way of improving the status quo of physics teaching and learning. It can make the boring physics learning a bit more fun; it is an important method to improve students’capability to solve practical problems; it can lay a foundation for a novel physics class that is effective, happy and active; it will contribute to the implementation of the quality-oriented education; most importantly, it can realize students’development of authenticity.On the basis of referring to and perusing related document literatures and through the surveys and analyses of the status quo of middle school situational teaching, this easy comes up with the active role that real situational teaching plays in the teaching of science. Meanwhile, in terms of the objective status of students’high marks and low capability, this essay comes up with creating real teaching situation that helps to cultivate students’ability to solve practical problems and that is an effective way of implementing quality-oriented education. Therefore, this essay elaborates from the following aspects:First, it has arranged the appeals of the definition of real situational teaching based on modern constructivism theory, life education theory, and situation-cognition theory; second, it has made surveys and analyses of the status quo of situational teaching and finds that students have low capability of solving practical problems, which is mainly because physics teaching in class lacks fidelity as it isn’t connected with students’life experience. It proves the value of real situational teaching; third, based on the above surveys and analysis, the author proposes to create a real situation in physics classes and carries out real situation teaching, makes teaching design with concrete teaching cases and makes a summary of the whole practice process and takes a deep introspection.
