Nowadays, computational thinking has become quite an important tool ofpeople to acknowledge and solve problems. As time goes by, the development ofscience technology leads us move from computational thinking to computationalparticipation.First Chapter of this paper has describes the background of the emergence ofcomputational participation, discusses the significance of this research, and at themeantime, list a few research techniques that used in this paper.Chapter2is about some concepts and apply of the computational thinking, including the function of Scratch, its programming language and environment, and had made a thorough analysis and exploration of its characteristic. The third Chapter is mainly about the three dimensions of social turn, thestudy of how to use computational participation in foreign cases, and revelationsto develop our programming education in K-12curricula which are generatedbased on those research. The last Chapter states author’s reflection and prospect of this research.Author has concluded the research achievement and present situation of thedomestic programming education in K-12curriculum. With pointing out thepresent problems and insufficient, author also indicates the development directionof this research in the future.
