Abstract:Chinese teaching in South Korea is seeing a sharp increase of the number of people learning Chinese. Recently, the teaching dimensions, contents and learning groups have been changed a lot in South Korea. This article set two elementary schools in Gwangyang City, Jeollanamdo province as examples, described and analyzed the present situation and teaching methods of Chinese teaching in South Korea. Writer made an interview on the local Chinese teacher who from prefecture of Boseong South Korea, an investigation of the effect on interesting Chinese teaching, explored the relationship between learning interest and effects. Moreover, learn experience from English teaching methods in South Korea so that we can draw a new teaching method which is suitable for updating the present situation of Chinese teaching.
