Research On The Integrated Services For Social Work In The Children’s Welfare Institute

Taking care of the disabled, promote the welfare of the disabled and guarantee the basic living standard of the people is the responsibility of the whole society also a symbol of social civilization and progress. By the end of2012statistics, there are8885500Chinese orphans and disabled children, facing such a large number, the strength of Chinese social assistance is not good enough, letting the disabled children enter the social welfare institutions is the main way of children’ assistance. The intervention of social work services to disabled children is a general trend in international and domestic, now in China the orphans and disabled children’ social work service mode mainly concentrated in the welfare institutions. The social workers in social welfare institution summed up the unique service mode and service skills. In the practice of children’s services, the beneficial effect of the orphans and disabled children’ social work is obvious, the government and the welfare institutions pay more and more attention for this service. At present, a lot of children’s welfare institutes in China introduced social work services for the orphans and handicapped children, but most of them are in the early stage, under the condition of no social standard system process, making advance of social work practice to disabled children is slow.In this paper, Jinan children’s welfare institute of social work services for the orphans and disabled children is the main research object. In order to achieve the research purpose of theoretical analysis and empirical analysis based on the field research, to collect research data by using literature method, interview method and observation method. Try to discover a problem, solve the problem and make innovation by extensive research data and on the basis of field investigation. Disabled children are an indispensable part of social groups, social workers try their best to offer the professional services to promote the healthy growth of disabled children.
