Study Of College Counselor’s Professionalism

College Counselors who are working in the first line are the main forces of college students’ ideological and political work, carrying out the important duty for education, cultivating the mission of successors to the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics. After60years of practice and exploration, the Chinese college counselor system and team construction developed rapidly. After the reform and opening up of China, especially along with the important transformation of the social reform in China, the concept of "quality education" and the new requirements topics on the ideological and political education work are emphasized by educators. In this context, strengthening the professionalism of College Counselors’theoretical and practical problems of research, is not only further enriching the theory on the construction of Professional Counselors but also enhancing the effectiveness of the ideological and political education effectively.This paper established a theoretical and practical basis of the professionalism of the College Counselors, the reality of the plight of the construction process and constraint reasons, training strategies and developed a path-depth study. In the introduction section of this article, we illustrate the main origins of theoretical and practical significance to study the profile of interpretation of the professionalism of College Counselors. Also we discussed the important and difficult part of this research as well as the innovation, idea and sustainability. System discourse of this paper consists of four main parts:The first part mainly analyzes the relevant concepts to draw the theoretical line for this study. This paper considers the full-time College Counselors should have the competent professionalism which is generated by the professionalism system including professional knowledge, professional skills, career awareness, career vision and so on. The second part, starting from the related doctrine of the basic theory of Marxism and the Party and the relevant state policies and combed the theoretical basis established by the professionalism of the College Counselors, analyzes the professional role of College Counselors and clarify of College Counselors realistic basis to raise the system of College Counselors professionalism and the five elements of the "new" structure and "College Counselors’five elements’system of professionalism pyramid structure". The third part, focusing on the analysis of the main problems in the construction status of the Professional Counselors and College Counselors professionalism construction, analyzes the main reason to restrict the construction of College Counselors professionalism. The fourth part, focusing on policies and systems environment, optimize the construction of College Counselors professionalism to explore and improve the university counselor professionalism training mode and to build the learning counselors, discusses how to develop the reality path of strengthening the university counselor professionalism construction and College Counselors professionalism.
