Concept teaching is the biological education foundation, is the key to learn the basic biology. It is thus clear that concept teaching in the position of biology teaching is very important. High school biology concept effective teaching is helpful to biology teachers to carry out the new curriculum reform ideas and3d object, effective control of the biology classroom, active classroom atmosphere, and improve the effectiveness of the biology teaching. Understanding the status of the teaching of high school biology concept and in view of the present situation to search optimization high school biology concept teaching strategy are very important as to the senior high school biology teaching.This paper mainly USES the survey research methods, through the door to the city of questionnaire two key high school in the investigation. The results of the survey found that, at present the high school biology concept of tianmen teaching situation is concerned. Embodied in the following aspects:students lack of autonomous learning ability and learning methods; teacher language and knowledge to improve reserves; teachers do not fully implement the teaching process, the method of concept and the teaching goal; the teacher to students’ thinking ability training to strengthen the consciousness; lack of interaction between teachers and students in. In addition to the students in the study to understand biological, there are some problems such as:not very clear understanding of concepts; teacher speak too fast, too short to understand; class easily distracted, can’t listen to the teacher carefully; concept learning is boring, lacking of interest in studying; the teacher rarely let students communicate and discuss directly to give an answer in the class; the class is in a very tedious way, concept is often come straight to the point and lack of interest; teachers’professional quality is not strong; little preview and review in the class, no habit of sorting; students do not have the right attitude, enough attention and preview before class. In this interview, understand the concept of teachers’ teaching practice.According to investigation and interviews of results combined with case analysis, this article from the teacher and the student puts forward some teaching Suggestions:(1) the rich knowledge reserves, is to optimize the premise of teaching concept;(2) to optimize the teaching language, initiates student learning concept interest;(3) Setting up situation build atmosphere, high import concept;(4) using the principle of logic promotes the formation and development of students’ thinking;(5) Choose the right way to help students understand and deepen concept;(6) The reasonable training, hold fast to life, flexible using of concept;(7)from the student’s study link, guides the student to master the scientific learning method.
