As children’s moral and psychological problems continue to emerge, school and familyeducation are facing unprecedented difficulties. Only by strengthening home-school cooperationcan children grow healthy physically and psychologically. Home-school cooperation has becomethe hot topic of education. A growing number of schools has regarded home-school cooperation asthe major school reform. With reference to related researches on home-school cooperation at homeand abroad, a survey on home-school cooperation of Jiangdong district D primary school has beenconducted to find existing problems, causes and affecting factors. In the end, a series ofcountermeasures on home-school cooperation are put forward.The paper consists of four parts.The first part introduces the background and significance of the topic, describes currentresearch on home-school cooperation at home and abroad, proposes research questions as well asresearch method and indicates possible innovation of this paper. Finally, the paper defines the basicconcepts of home-school cooperation.The second part lists the basic theories of home-school cooperation, providing a theoreticalbasis for further research. The basic theories of home-school cooperation include ecologicalsystems theory, diffusion of responsibility theory, social capital theory, management theory,coordination theory, the new teacher professionalism theory.The third part is about a survey on the present situation of home-school cooperation ofJiangdong district D primary school. Through field survey, school administrators, teachers, parentsconcept on cooperation, awareness, attitude, methods, home-school activities carried out by Dprimary school are fully understood. Meanwhile, problems existing in D primary school home-school cooperation are found and reasons and affecting factors are analyzed.The fourth part is about the parent-school cooperative countermeasures and suggestions.Based on the basic principles of home-school cooperation, a series of countermeasures areproposed.
