Research On The Honesty Education Of Contemporary College Students

As one of the traditional virtues in China, honesty and trustworthiness was taken as oneof the basic moral standards of interpersonal communication as early as thousands yearsago. It will spread forever. However, in recent years, because of different reasons, honestyand trustworthiness crisis has been a relatively serious problem in China, and in college,the problem of lacking honesty and trustworthiness among the students has been attachedmore and more attentions by people. As the main builders of the Chinese characteristicsocialist, the credit condition of the college students has related the credit quality of thewhole society. Therefore, to strength the education of honesty of the college students is notonly the objective requirement of their all-rounds development,but the inevitablerequirement of the construction of socialist spiritual sensitivity. It has important practicalsignificance.This paper consists of three parts: introduction, text and conclusion. Aim to improve theeffectiveness of the honesty education among students, the paper takes to put forward thequestion, analyze the causes and find countermeasures as the main line of the writing, usesthe methods of the literature research method, the method combining the analysis andinduction, and the method of watching and interview to research the question of thehonesty education.The text includes four parts. The frist part: Base on the connotation ofhonesty and credit education, this part reviews their origin,evolution and modernsignificance. And explain the necessity of the honesty education from the overalldevelopment of college students, ideological and political course construction and thebuilding of socialist spiritual civilization. The second part introduces the main contents ofhonesty education in colleges from six aspects: the political education of honesty, thelearning education of honesty, the life education of honesty, the economic education ofhonesty, the employment education of honesty and the network education of honesty. Thethird part summary the specific performance of lacking honesty among the college studentsfrom the political, the economic,the life, the employment and the network; and make theanalysis of the reasons for lack of honesty from the students themselves, socialenvironment, family and school, etc. The fourth part is the focus of the article. Through theanalysis of the former three parts, it summarizes some suggestions for our honesty education in colleges. At frist, we should improve related laws and regulations andestablish the student honesty file in the aspect of system; Secondly, the colleges shouldenrich the education contents and methods of honesty education, combining with ourexcellent traditional trustworthiness culture and foreign experience, paying attention toknowledge integration. In addition, we should develop the force of family and society, theparents make themselves and their behaviors as an example for their child in the family, thesociety purifies the environment to create an trustworthiness atmosphere.
