Horizon Fusion Theory was put forward by Gadamer. To use this theory toparaphrase the text, it requires the reader to fully understand the text, which meansnot only bringing the times back to the reader, invesigating the origin of the text,understanding, speculating, and comprehending the author’s original intention, butalso constructing their own clear presentation with the author and the text in theprocess of interpretation. The degree of understanding the text is directly related toreader’s own condition, his social situations and personal experiences. Su Shi’s workshave played a significant role in current high school teaching materials, especially hismasterpiece created in Huangzhou. It is full of not only beautiful language and richcontent, but also philosophical connotation in life, which inspires students to form ahealthy and positive personality. It is in line with the concept of "respect the students’unique feelings" advocated by new curriculum standard and is also an inevitablechoice for furthering its depth in this age of sushi’s works to lift teacher’s authority ofparaphrasing tests and pursue horizon fusion in his works.The author tries to takeGadamer’s Horizon Fusion Theory for reference, and analyze the present situation inhigh school teaching of Su Shi’s works. Through the analysis of a series of teachingcases in different styles, the author tell the advantages and disadvantages in teachingmethods and try to practice, summarizes the effective teaching methods to search forteaching strategies to achieve horizon fusion of Su Shi’s works.This paper is divided into five chapters: the first chapter is to elaborate theresearch background, purpose and significance, as well as an overview of the contentof this paper; The second chapter is to explain related theories in this paper, includingeffective teaching, understanding of horizon fusion of Su Shi’s work so as to providetheoretical support for horizon fusion; The third chapter is to investigate the currentteaching situation of Su Shi’s work. A questionnaire has been lunched from theaspect of both students and teachers, to master the firsthand data. At the same time,the teaching materials as well as front-line teaching cases has been dissected toanalyze problems; The fourth chapter is about some specific teaching strategies on horizon fusion of sushi’s work, including the teaching goal integrated withthree-dimensional horizon fusion, teaching contents with life horizon, teachingactivity with multiple interaction of language practice, the teaching process ofcontinuous research, teaching evaluation with positive and distinctive personality.Some cases have been combined to discuss practical applications of thesestrategies; The fifth chapter is to explore the teaching practice on sushi’s workhorizon fusion and analyze the class through the radio of "NianNujiao.Chibi huaigu”which is served as a platform for practice. The last chapter is about discussion andoutlook. The author has made a summary on the theory and practice in this paper,analyze gain and loss and put forward expectations.
