| The frequent campus emergencies caused a lot of college students’ casualties andadverse effects, so it is imperative to developing and improving college students’ emergencyresponse capability. Research on the influence factors and measurement methods of collegestudents’ emergency response capability is the mean and foundation of improving collegestudents’ emergency response capability. However, there is not a set of tools to measurecollege students’ emergency response capability. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is todevelop a more practical, scientific and targeted measurement tool for college students’emergency response capability in order to improve college students’ emergency responsecapability to reduce unnecessary casualties and adverse impacting on the community.Firstly, the paper summarizes the influence factors of college students’ emergencyresponse capability from individual and environmental factors according to the behavioralscience theories and the related research achievements of domestic and international and caseanalysis of universities emergencies. Secondly, it determines influence factor items of collegestudents’ emergency response capability combining with the open questionnaires, experts andPH.D’s advices. Based on these items, this paper develops pre-test and forms a primary scaleof college students’ emergency response capability which has three subscales: personalquality, university environment and social environment. Then it chooses14universities inShanxi province as an object of investigation and uses SPSS17.0and AMOS17.0software toanalyze the items and factors of preliminary scale, in order to determine the factors structureof subscales. Then this paper forms the formal scale and tests the validity and reliability. Atlast, it makes an empirical analysis on college students’ emergency response capability scaleand uses fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to make overall analysis on one universitystudents’ emergency response capability. By comparing the analysis results with the actualsituation of university students’ emergency response capability to verify the validity andaccuracy of the scale, then this paper puts forward the recommendations to improve college students’ emergency response capability. |
