The experimental records is not only an effective form of information storage,but also a widely used scientific method, which is often used in chemical experiments.By recording the students’ chemistry experiment, we can observe whether studentshave a realistic attitude to science experiments, it also can evaluate the teachingability of the teacher and weather the students grape the knowledge or not moreover,it can make the teacher teach better and the students learn better.This study is on the basis of former literature and theoretical research, themeasure tool in this study that is made by the chemistry experiment volumns. that isto say it contains the structural elements of the record. We investigated grade3students, who are come from rural areas in Huating County Pingliang City secondaryschools. Finally, after the investigation we recored the date of the experiment and thenevaluate them though PTA. And random stratified samping method five students asinterview object, understand the cause of the problem exist in the chemicalexperiment records.After analysis the date, we found that the middle school students are alreadyhave the awareness of the experimental record, this is a good phenomeno; however, italso expose the fowlling problems: the purpose of the experiment was not clear, theuse of experimental the instrumentation and experimental graph is not very propriate,they are difficult to remember the principle of the experiment, the experimentalprocedure is too simple, the records are not comprehensive.Based on the above research results, in order to advicing chemical teacherspromote student experiment record ability, we put forward the following thesuggestions. The first, attaching importance of experimentai teaching. The second,toteach students the way of experimental observation and record. The thrid, to cultivatestudents ability of thinking.
