The Plight And The Countermeasures Of Social Regression Management Of Community Correction Targets

As a non-jailed penalty, community correction was introduced into China in this new millennium. The Supreme People’s Court,the Supreme People’s Procuratorate, the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Justice jointly issued the standard specification- "The notice about carrying out community correction " in July2003.Since then, community correction has developed rapidly in this country.Community correction and social regression management are important parts of ordinary work in Chinese justice system. Making community correction members adapt into society and start new life as soon as possible is the main target. In this paper,the author expands her perspective about community correction from the role of government, social organizations, public participation and other related group,she deeply analyzes the situation, difficulty and the causes by giving detailed cases in district G, city S, combined with her practical work of community correction. At last,the author gets some very useful solutions and suggestions which will be beneficial to the development of community correction.
