The Present Problems And Countermeasures Of The Legal System Education In Vocational Colleges

Graduates of vocational colleges are not only responsible for the great rejuvenation of the mission of our nation, but also a force in the socialist state’s legal system construction. Vocational Students,as a high-quality,highly skilled practical group, whether they have a strong legal awareness and legal literacy,are directly related to the process of law society, and have a direct impact on the overall legal quality,and the realization of law goals.In recent years, criminal cases occurred to the students one after another, There are more diverse types of crime, especially on personal property and personal injuries,with no significant difference from other crimes in the community. To solve this problem, I selected six vocational colleges in Xi’an and Xianyang for the survey on the current status of vocational colleges:Such as their legal education level, their awareness, attitudes, curriculum, educational content as well as awareness of teachers. This essay aims at Root Cause analysis and countermeasures. Through research some problems on legal education in vocational institutions are as follows:1. Legal education system of vocational colleges is not complete, for there is a gap between the social reality and the legal education. In the cognition of legal education, the consciousness of advocating law has not been fully formed. 2. The students’ education of legal system is lack of systematic and pertinence, which is more inclined to professional skill training. 3. The teaching form is unitary, the education mode is backward, the family environment, social environment and other factors influence the legal education effect.4. There are uneven level of teachers. This paper analyzes the causes of these problems. Vocational colleges do not attach much importance to law education. The students, as well as teachers, parents, and the society factors,lack motivation and atmosphere of law education.In view of the above problems, following aspects are to be improved: 1. Perfect the legal system education system of vocational colleges and strengthen the construction of legal education curriculum. 2. Choose teaching contents carefully, highlight the professional differences, and enhance vivid, intuitive, practical interaction, and improve the teaching effect. Reform the existing assessment model of law education, and promote students to learn the subjective-learning enthusiasm. 3. Broaden the field of legal education, carry out a variety of law education practice. 4. Build a platform for teachers to enhance the overall quality of teachers.
