Analysis On Living Condition Of The Jiaxiang Migrant Workers In Shenyang Scrap Steel Market

With the development of economy and society, the problem of migrant workers has been a hot issue of social concern. This study focus on Jiaxiang migrant workers in Shandong province in the condition of scrap steel industry in Shenyang. Because the Jiaxiang migrant workers in Shenyang scrap steel industry rate is as high as 80%, showing characteristics of fellow "get together" employment, has obvious agglomeration characteristics.This study adopts case study method, and takes the living condition of Jiaxiang employees living in Shenyang scrap steel industry in-depth investigation and analysis, research sites were selected in Shenyang Tower Bay steel market, Sandy Ridge steel market, using in-depth interviews, with participant observation method of investigation 35 interviewers relevant data. Survey content includes:the Jiaxiang agricultural transfer population as originally selected to Shenyang and engaged in steel industry motivation, employment, life, urban integration. Employment including vocational differentiation,working conditions, income stratification, working relationship, economic stratification, and employment satisfaction; Living conditions including life relies, living conditions, leisure entertainment; Urban integration conditions including language, children’s education, Household registration and identity integration. Finally, it summarizes the living conditions of related problems, and gives the corresponding countermeasures and Suggestions.Study suggests that the low quality of practitioners caused a series of problems. Employment, Lack of professional guarantee, industry satisfaction is low; life, Poor living conditions, the way of leisure and entertainment is not healthy; Urban Integration, Mandarin low utilization, Children’s education exists many problems,the city wishes to stay low. Relevant government departments and industry executives problems for the industry, should co-ordinate a comprehensive analysis solution. Jiaxiang living conditions in the steel scrap industry is a microcosm of agricultural work in Shenyang survival and development of an industry, devoted to the analysis reflected in living conditions, problems meticulous, targeted measures.
