This paper takes urban migrant workers in Kangju Community, the first public rental housing community in Hohhot,as the research object, and uses literature, interview and questionnaire methods to study their income, expenditure and borrowing status based on first-hand information such as survey documents and statistical data, and analyze their problems and dilemmas in urban life. The problems and difficulties they encounter in urban life.At present, the income level of urban migrant workers in Hohhot is lower than that of urban residents, and there is still a big gap.As the price level in the city increases and the material and spiritual needs keep growing,an imbalance in their income and expenditure relationship has emerged. At the same time, due to the difficult economic situation, many urban migrant workers choose to borrow money to meet their needs or cope with the risks in life, while the official borrowing threshold is not compatible with the actual economic situation of urban migrant workers, prompting many urban migrant workers to choose private borrowing, which increases the burden of life. This thesis argues that the government and communities should strengthen the professional skills training efforts of migrant workers to enhance their employmentcompetitiveness and raise their income levels.Lower the borrowing threshold of official financial institutions and improve the level of inclusive financial services, while actively guiding migrant workers to start their own businesses, optimizing the relationship between income, expenditure and borrowing of migrant workers and improving their economic situation. We strive to improve the social security level of migrant workers and reduce the hardship caused by risk factors such as illness, unemployment and accidents. We will ensure that migrant workers enjoy the fruits of economic and social development more equitably, improve their living conditions, enhance the vitality of migrant workers’ participation in economic and social construction, and promote the social stability and sound development of ethnic areas. |
