In modern warfare, air combat strength is an important part of national military force, the occupation of the air superiority plays a decisive role in the initiative in the war. Therefore, it is particularly important to improve air combat power. In actual combat, the environment modeling is an important part of the air, however, because of lacking a good standard for air combat environment modeling, the study of air combat environment modeling method is of great significance. Meantime, the existing air path planning has not considering the threat impact very well, which makes the most of the route planning algorithm cannot be applied in real combat environment. Therefore the threat analysis is applied to the further research of route planning algorithm has great practical significance.First of all, the development of threat analysis, the battlefield space partition and path planning are reviewed in this paper. Then, the source of threats in the scope of battlefield space are decomposed, which established the main threat of the environment in air combat, and the threats range and threat capabilities are given by blackboard model. At the same time, based on two different angles of the situation and the ability, threats of aircraft are analyzed, and the attack value and range of fighter combat are achieved through the combination of different proportion coefficient.Secondly, aiming at the shortcomings of the existing space modeling method, the paper puts forward three kinds of subspace:the freedom, the competition and the refuse subspace, which discrete battlefield space into grid body; then, it grading the threats and compromise these threats at the same level by potential field method, which achieved threat value of all the grid body in the battlefield range, and, it builds a space partition model based on threat analysis; the feasibility of this method was verified by simulation analysis.Finally, on the basis of space partition model for aircraft flight path planning, aiming at the shortcomings of others’ research about path planning for operational environment, this paper use the genetic algorithm to track the battlefield space planning, and adds the battlefield threat into algorithm fitness function as one of the affecting factors, it puts forward the method that based on the modeling of threat analysis, which apply for path planning. And the operator of genetic algorithm is improved, which makes it more suitable for three-dimensional environment aircraft flight path planning. Meantime, it gives the method of path planning simulation analysis and related parameters, and the practicability and superiority of the improved method was verified through the simulation experiments of path planning under static environment and dynamic environment.In this paper, the battlefield space partition model and its research results in the route planning algorithm has been applied in one mission planning software.
