A Research On Consummating The System Of Home Care For China’s Urban Elderly

The happy life of the elderly is a very simple. They just want to have grandchildren, child care and Interesting entertainment. However, the life in old age is changed due to population mobility, family structure, work pressure...these weaken the capacity of family support for the elderly. At the same time, get old before it gets rich is putting China’s old-age care under great pressure. An aging population is a severe problem in China, The best way to solve this problem is developing the home care model. At the present stage, China does not yet have the conditions to improve the home care system. So, we should think about how to develop the home care system. The supply and demand of home care services takes challenges and opportunities to the development of home care. Domestic and international experience is very meaningful. Analyze its nature from the perspective of welfare diversified, to determine the position of the government, society, families and individuals in the establishment of home care system, to promote the development of home care.This paper consists of five parts. The main content and view of each part is as following:The first chapter to discuss the research purpose and significance of this paper and to summarize briefly those related literatures on domestic and overseas financial support for home care system. The second chapter is the Analysis of the obstacles of the development of home care, and the opportunities for future development. The third chapter is a summary of the home care development of China’s major cities. Select the more serious degree of aging of the Chinese cities of Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Nanjing, Xi’an, Shenyang, Chengdu, seven major cities, the pilot cities of the country the development of home care, home care service of these seven cities city government policy, community services, home care for the elderly satisfaction, development of home care social volunteer force carried out the presentation and experience. The chapter four briefing on foreign home care services and experience of these countries ---UK, USA, Japan, Singapore, countries in the development period for home care of the problems encountered with the current development of our country hinder have a similar situation, so the experience gained in solving problems for our country is worthy of study. Chapter Five, presented some thoughts on improving the home care service system.The article has three innovations. First of all, the Maslow theory of demand is the basic theory to analysis demand the performance of the home for the elderly at all levels. Second, Authors believe that the nature of home care is social welfare, give Home care service objects, service objectives and service functions to a new definition. Third, it compared with previous studies, proposed to improve home care system more focused and feasibility of comments and suggestions.
