The Development Problem And Strategy Of Pension Industry In Chengdu

With the continuous development of Chinese economy and society, an aging population has been paid more and more attention. Traditional pension model can not meet the changing demand of the Aged and the traditional way expose many problems. The development of pension industry is the only way to solve these problems. Pension industry not only can provide a variety of different levels of pension products, but also can reduce the negative pressure. More importantly, it also will promote employment and development of new industries and create new growth point to Chinese economy. Therefore, development of pension industry is of great practical significance.According to the sixth national census data, The elderly population aged 60 and above than has more than 10% of the international social acceptance standards and the proportion of total population is 13. 26%. In the case of the National Population Aging in our country, Chengdu is more optimism. At the end of 2014, the elderly population aged 60 and over accounted for 20.6% in Chengdu. So, on the one hand a test of the carrying capacity of Chengdu pension system, and the other On the one hand but also stimulate the rapid development of related industries in the pension industry. However,there is a great gap between the needs of the elderly and facility management of the pension agency in Chengdu. Although the number of agencies has expanded in size,the quality is not compliance. Substandard quality, single product, low service quality and low management level restricts the further development of the pension industry in Chengdu. In this case, it is necessary to carry out the present situation and patterns of the pension industry development to resolve problems in the pension industry development and mode selection in Chengdu.In this study, Combined with the specific situation of Chengdu, the author puts forward a reference model for the pension industry development. According to field research and data analysis, the author analyzes the current situation and questions of the pension industry in Chengdu and put forward specific policy recommendations.Specific arrangements are as follows:Firstly, we describe the background and significance of the development of the pension industry and methods used in this research institute. Combined with industrial theory and the theory of market failure, we understand the conception of pension industry. Furthermore, the author learns about research status and the development experience. Britain and other relevant development experience for reference. Using field research to understand the operation and the hope of the elderly, we learn about the current situation and problems of pension industrial development. And then we describe the development of the pension industry in Chengdu is feasible. So I propose three reference models for the pension industry development in Chengdu, and compare their advantages and disadvantages to propose targeted policy recommendations.
