Study On The Rehabilitation Service System For The Disabled In Suzhou

As special social vulnerable groups, the people’s survival and development are increasingly concerned by the government and the society.As we all know, rehabilitation is an important means to improve the physiological and psychological functions of the disabled persons, and also is the prerequisite for the employment of people with disabilities in social life.In 2008, the CDPF to Suzhou has become the first batch of 15(Jiangsu Province only) to create a model of disability to cities, after 3 years of creation practice to promote, Suzhou City of rehabilitation work gradually formed a two-stage disabled rehabilitation center city, county-level cities(districts) as the dragon head, Institute of social and professional rehabilitation as the backbone, community rehabilitation services for the foundation of the "Trinity" of the disabled persons rehabilitation service system characteristics so that everyone enjoy rehabilitation services to achieve the goal of rehabilitation assistance system full coverage, full coverage of the project and rehabilitation services, community rehabilitation service organization full coverage and rehabilitation needs of the information management covering the whole.Based on the theory of public service equalization, people’s needs and the protection of people’s rights and interests, this paper makes a review of the development of the rehabilitation service system of disabled persons, the significance of the rehabilitation service system of disabled persons, and the problems and reasons in the construction of disabled rehabilitation service system in Suzhou.
