With the population of instant message, especially wechat in our country, it has already been an important platform which is used for government administration by governments at all levels. Till January of 2015, the number of ID of government wechat grows very fast, and has attained 41 thousand. Promoting administration of public affairs and spreading information of government by wechat has become a normalcy.At present, China’s mobile Internet develops very fast, instant messaging subscribers has already been over 606 million, 90.8% using rate. From the current development of government wechat, it has become a platform for Internet-based services, emergency command, public opinion and regional publicity, which helps citizens acquire information, consult policy, deal with business. Faced with such a large amount of users, our government wechat still has many problems and challenges in the development process.Issues, the national ministries and commissions of e-government wechat influence than local weak, provincial city and other cities difference is bigger, active imbalance between industries. Challenges, government wechat penetration rate is very low, slow growth in the basic function remains to be perfect, media properties, one-way promotion information more, fewer interactive information, information release frequency and information to improve quality, lack of effective audit and supervision.In this paper, combined with guangdong, Shanghai, zhejiang, xinjiang, jilin, sichuan and other regions to work as an example, puts forward six Suggestions on strengthening the construction of government wechat: One is to governance according to law. The second is to make positioning platform and user location. Three is to add management mechanism construction. Four is to strengthen the construction of the content. Five is to strengthen interaction. Six is to build the evaluation system.In all, the constant development of government wechat needs protecting of mechanism and creating a new way of working. We should face up to the challenges and problems to enhance the influence and the attraction of government wechat in the government administration.
