As the southern coastal provinces, Canton, south China province along the ocean line is also one of the fastest growing provinces in our country, the internal stability and unity in the peace has the special significance meaning to and stability in the development of our country. Yangjiang, one prefecture level city of Canton province, prefecture in order to solve this problem has been gradually expands public security prevention and control system of the construction work, which is running and the preliminary results are obtained.The establishment of the socialist harmonious society must have stability and unity of social atmosphere as the support, and with conscientious strictly control of public security department, the comprehensive prevention and control, scientific management, to maintain the stability of the social system in an orderly and harmonious and healthy development. As the main responsibility of the ministry of public security departments, public security dept. has to guarantee the management and the establishment of prevention and control system to implement in real will directly affect the social stability in the people and the prosperity of economic and political life of our country.This thesis mainly focus on studies of Yangjiang in Canton province public security management system and the prevention and control system, understanding the present situation and the problem on the implementation of this system, and then puts forward the corresponding solutions. Firstly, this thesis conducted lots of literature research, analyzed the present stage from different angles of Yangjiang city public security prevention and control system. First of all, the first chapter and the second chapter explains the selected topic background and significance of topic selection, to some relative literature review, comparing with the domestic and foreign research present situation, then find out the research method and innovation of this subject And then analyzed detailed introduction to the public security prevention and control system, the fourth chapter analysis of Yangjiang city in Canton province public security prevention and control system, the fifth chapter, according to the content of the third chapter points out that the problem of insufficien.
