A Study Comparing The College Student Party Members And Non-party Members Of Fulfilling The Socialist Core Value

The significant proposition, “constructing the socialist core value system”, was clearly put forward for the first time at the sixth plenary session of the 16 th Communist Party Of China; The report of the 18 th party congress had highly compacted and summarized the socialist core value system, and put forward the socialist core values. The socialist core values plays an role of standardization and guidance for the College students’ thought and behavior, besides, the college student party members seek more advanced political thought, pursue noble moral character, play the role of backbones in theoretical studying and do the example in behavior practicing, and they play a vanguard role for the other ordinary students. Therefore, letting the college student party members and non-party members as the research object, exploring their theoretical cognitive situation of the socialist core values, the value identity conditions and practical situation, and comparing two classes of students can not only help to grasp the status of the college students’ practice of the socialist core values clearly, but also provide a feasible reference for exploring how to enhance university students’ identity of the socialist core values and practice the socialist core values consciously.Through distributing questionnaires, getting the statistic result and combining with relevant theory, policy and interviews to analysis, this paper use the method of empirical study and comparative study on the present practical situation of the socialist core values in the college student party members and non-party members of Chengdu, summarize the current existing problems and related reasons, and then put forward it that enhancing the college students’ identification of socialist core values and promoting the college students practice the socialist core values actively and consciously should focus on the following five aspects: strengthening the college student party members and non-party members idealistic education, and insisting that the guiding status in the field of ideology of Marxism is not shaken; enhancing the college student party members re-education, and facilitating the student party members’ practice cultivation; the college student party members should take on their status bravely and play the college student party members’ pioneering and model action well;the college student non-party members should be active and initiative,and play the college student non-party members’ principal roles; enhancing the guarantee and guidance,and improving the long-term mechanism of the socialist core values’ education in colleges.
