| With the deepening of reform and opening up of Chinese society, the imbalance of regional development is more obvious.Especially in rural areas, the contradiction of people becomes sharper.For the sake of livelihood, a large number of rural labor force went out of home for work, at the same time created a new group——left-behind children. According to the survey, the number of left-behind children in poor rural areas in China grow with each passing day And It has been the focus of the government and academia in recent years.The author has been in a teacher work in the zone of Anding city, Gansu province.In terms of my school, according to school statistics show that93%of the students in the school are Ieft-behind children. Through contacting deeply with the left-behind children this year, the author was led to attention and thinking of this group.The experience of teaching has provided the reliable basis for the author to the study of Ieft-behind children in rural poverty. By observing the author found that the region’s imperfect infrastructure construction caused the left-behind children group to study difficultly, see a doctor difficultly and live difficultly. In the locality, poor students’ material assistance or outside donations have been exploited. Local left-behind children generally reflects the psychology of inferiority and loneliness, they are very eager to talk with others but they dare not communicate. Local left-behind children still exist behavior deviation phenomenon, such as wasting, stealing, violence.This study is based on the authors’ qualitative researches of teaching experience, mainly adopt the method of participant observation and case interview, combining with the analysis by social support theory. Finally from the perspective of social work,the author explored the methods of carrying out social work for left-behind children in poor rural areas,in order to provide the basis of social support system of left-behind children groups in similar areas. |
