Governance Research Of Network Group Events

With the rapid development of science and technology, the application of the network has spread to every aspect of life, network group events organized and planned through the network organization arises at the historic moment, and becomes the new topic of contemporary public administration. In recent years, Network group events often happen in China, which brings new problems to the governmental governance. Network group events are a double-edged sword, if disposed improperly, it is easy to cause a series of social problems and influence the social harmony and stability. Due to the frequent occurrence of network group events in recent years, the Chinese government in the network group events has accumulated some experience in the prevention and treatment work, but China’s current network group events happened were much more complicated and difficult to deal with, so instead of sticking to the traditional way in terms of governance method, the government should search for more effective governance mode. This article first expounds the basic concept of network group events, their causes, characteristics and influence, and expounds the concept of public governance theory, its characteristics, concept, as well as the necessity to apply it to the management of network group events. The article then summarizes the present situation and existing problems of network group events in China through the analysis of the current situation of the development of China’s network group events. Next, it analyzes from several aspects the cause that influences the network group events governance. Last, based on the theory of public governance, the article puts forward some corresponding countermeasures and a mode in which the government takes a leading role, and the media, citizens and non-governmental organizations all take part to assist the governmental governance. The purpose of this article is to find out more effective countermeasure of network group events, and maintain social harmony and stability.
