On the background of economic globalizaion, society informlization and culture multilization, On the background of economic globalizaion, society informlization and culture multilization, how to strengthen the construction of college Party members’ advancement,make the colleges student fully developed and outstanding,enlarge the influence of the student Party members,and cultivate them as pillars of the construction of socialist modernization is the essential content of the ideological and political education work as well as the important topic of strengthening and improving the ideological and political education work.This paper bases on the understanding of the advancement of the Party members which the classical masters of Marxism and the leaders of China scientifically explain, coordinates the characteristics of the college students, scientifically definites the connotation of the advancement of the college students and establishes the basic content of the advancement of college student Party members and points out the meaning of strengthening the construction of the advancement of college student groups, laying a certain theoretical foundation for further study of the advanced construction student Party members.
