A Study On Social Adaptation Of Female Ecological Immigrants In Ningxia

The problem of ecological migration has become a global hot issue which earns people’s concern. Currently, the foreign academic studies on themes and contents of ecological migration mainly focused on social, cultural and economic effects. In addition, research perspective has also changed from macroscale to microspace. Due to implementation of migration project, academic studies on ecological migration in our country developed. All of those studies mainly concentrated in the problems of migration’s social adaptation and sustainable development. From microcosmic aspect, the thesis explores social adaptation problems of ecological migration in terms of female perspective. Based on survey of Ningxia female ecological immigrants, the thesis describes present situation of social adaptation of Ningxia female ecological immigrants. It also summarizes the model and features of Ningxia female ecological immigrant’s economic, psychological adaptation in their life after resettling in new places. Then the thesis analyzes elements which have effects on female ecological migrants. Last, the thesis puts forward some countermeasures to improve social adaptation of Ningxia female ecological immigrants in line with partial influencing factors.The thesis totally consists of seven chapters:Chapter one is an introduction. After confirming the source and significance of the research, the introduction presents studies and the latest development of ecological migration and female immigrants home and abroad. Then this chapter draws technology roadmap by setting research contents and methods.In chapter two, concepts and theories are described. After defining the related concepts of female ecological immigrants, this chapter introduces basic theories which could support this research in detail.In chapter three, Ningxia female ecological migrants are introduced. After introducing background and development situation of Ningxia ecological immigrants and generalizing basic situation of Ningxia female ecological immigrants, this chapter briefly introduces choices of research area and concrete conditions of research samples.Chapter four presents survey of Ningxia female ecological immigrant’s social adaptation. Through field observation and investigation, chapter four explores and analyzes Ningxia female ecological immigrant’s economic, psychological adaptation in their life by combining interview records. Then it summarizes the model and features of Ningxia female ecological immigrants.Chapter five focused on elements which have effects on female ecological immigration. Based on the current situation of social adaptation, chapter five elaborates factors affecting Ningxia female ecological immigrants, including individual, family and social factors. What’s more, it expatiates the specific manifestation of those factors in social adaptation.Chapter six is the essence of the thesis. In this chapter, countermeasures are put forward to improve Ningxia female ecological immigrants on the basis of survey and influencing factors of Ningxia female ecological immigrants, especially take the weak links as breakthrough points.Chapter seven mainly concentrated in the future development of this academic study and Ningxia female ecological immigrants based on the summarization of research achievements.
