Research On The System Of Public-private Cooperating Supervision Of Food Safety

Since the founding of People’s Republic of China,the food safety supervision system has gone through a process of constant development.Now a ‘Unified Coordination, Segmented Supervision’ system has set up.But the tight supervision system hasn’t played the proper role.Food safety accidents still occurred.With the development of the theory of ‘Cooperative Governance’ and ‘Privatization’,the government is seeking for a new governance model.At the same time, with the growing strength of related social organizations and consumers,these third party power are striving for taking part in the process of the government management.This paper puts forward that we should bring the theory of public-private cooperation into the food safety supervision system.Based on analysing the necessity of bring the theory of public-private cooperation into food safety supervision system,this paper introduces the types,models and principles of public-private cooperating supervision.Then through introducing the present situation of public-private cooperating supervision of food safety in our country,analysing the existing problems of present situation.Based on the experience of development countries and areas,exploring the way to conduct public-private cooperation in food safety supervision in our country.At last,putting forward the tentative idea of build a suitable public-private cooperating supervision system of food safety of our country.
