Study On Management Of Ordos’ Volunteer Service In Large Activities

With the development of economy and society in Ordos, series of large activities were hold in recent years, such as the Inner Mongolia Material and Spiritual Civilization Construction Experience Communicating Meeting, the 11th Asia Art Festival, Ordos International Nadam Games, the International Marathon, the preparing 10th National Traditional Games of Ethnic Minorities of the People’s Republic of China, etc. In the process of preparation and holding these large activities, volunteers gradually play an important role in it. They have made positive contribution on improving the efficiency and reducing the cost of large activities. According to the situation of Ordos, studying the theory and practice of Ordos’ volunteer management, mastering the rules of organization and management, arousing volunteers’enthusiasm, maximizing human capital, have practical significance in large activities. On the foundation of management and sociology theory, this study took volunteer service management in Ordos as the study object, which using theoretical and empirical method, summarized the achievements according to the development of Ordos’volunteers management in recent years. The study analysed the detailed procedure of volunteers’management in Ordos large activities, discussed the existing problems and shortcomings, then put forward specific and operational suggestion. It expects that establishing the optimum mode in accord with situation of Ordos, becoming beneficial reference to the coming 10th National Traditional Games of Ethnic Minorities of the People’s Republic of China and the after management of volunteers in large activities in Ordos.
