Research On Governance Of Myanmar Refugee Affairs In China-Myanmar Border

The refugee matter is a thorny problem all the countries through the world can cope with. The conflicts between Myanmar government and its local ethnic armed forces in the north have been going on for decades of years. And the refugee problem caused by the conflicts makes multiple effects on China-Myanmar border. Myanmar refugee affairs governance in China-Myanmar border is an important issue for China’s state governance to deal with in peacetime.Firstly, this paper, based on the review of refugee laws or policy of various countries(or regions), foreign refugees affairs management,Chinese refugees management and related research of Myanmar refugees,systematically explores the origin of Myanmar refugees problem in China-Myanmar border and it’s five impacts.Secondly, the paper, based on the theory of governance and stakeholder theory, makes an analysis of appeals and conflicts of stakeholders in dealing with Burma refugees in China-Myanmar border.Finally, based on the experience of domestic and international refugee affairs governance, the paper puts forward innovative idea in dealing with border refugee affairs governance. While, the paper puts forward five countermeasures on Myanmar refugees in China-Myanmar border for its local governance.The research on Myanmar refugee affairs governance in China-Myanmar border can offer some reference values on constructing the modern governance of open state and governance of foreign refugees in border areas.
