What’s more, the quick development of internet provides a great platform for nationalism to show its power, here comes the unique network nationalism. To understand and recognize Chinese network nationalism, it’s necessary to understand he definition of ethnic, nationalism, ultra nationalism and patriotism firstly, which is the basic to understand network nationalism in China. Nowadays, with the globalization of the world, nationalism shows a new trend in the new Internet Day. Because of the development of the Chinese technology, the awakening of national consciousness, the guidance of government policies and so on, the network nationalism in China begins to rise. It shows the rational and irrational, emergent and spontaneous characteristics. Since the internet owns the virtual characteristics, the main participators are considered to be male students. They prefer to take the way of demonstrations, emotional expression and so on. By studying the nature, we realize that it contains both patriotism and ultra-nationalism. All things have two sides, including the Chinese network nationalism, which has positive and negative influences. Because of the ambiguous theory structure of Chinese network nationalism, the trend is uncertain. The immature internet speech, information and behaviors in the process of development need our government lead. Therefore, to lead the network nationalism in China to develop in a right way, the author here mentions several1suggestions:first, completing the laws and regulation about the network; second, cultivating the moral quality of people; third, strengthening the ideological education about the nations (mainly refers to the young people); four, strengthening the regulation and guidance of network public opinion in China. |
