Maintaining security and stability of the Colleges and universities is the top priority that the government leaders in Colleges and universities should pay attention to. Along with the deepening of reform and opening up, China’s higher education has been developing rapidly, but at the same time, the factors that affect the stability of colleges and universities also presents the characteristics of complexity and diversity. Wherein, unexpected events,especially the emergent group incident has become a major threat to the security and stability of the University campus. Therefore, to improve the ability to deal with the emergent group incident, explores the effective mass emergency coping strategies is an important task.that all levels of government government and university is facingFirstly,This article starts from the basic theory on the emergent group incident of the Colleges and University, Secondly, it expounds the types、characteristics、properties and performance of the emergent group incident, and analyzes the cause of events. Thirdly,According to the existing problems at present when the Chinese colleges and universities deal with sudden group event problems, and the particularity of emergency management, summarizing some basic principles that the colleges and universities must obey in the treatment of sudden group event.,At last, this paper puts forward some concrete countermeasures.The text is divided into five parts.The first part, introduction.
