Exploration And Practice Of Long-term Mechanism Of Rural Elderly Volunteer Service

With the gradual increase of the development of economy and society of China,social medical service safeguard level and people’s quality of life and family planningpolicy affection, the elderly population growing rapidly. The proportion of the totalpopulation also increased and aging issues are also increasingly prominent. Additionally,rapid advancement of industrialization and urbanization are transferring rural labor tourban areas and their family becomes smaller and kerning. These factors lead to pensionpressure in China doubled, how to provide economic supply, life care, spiritual comfortand security service for the elderly have become the most important issues facing thegovernment, society and family.Ministry of Civil Affairs in the1980s put forward the community volunteer serviceact.. During early1990s, another volunteer organization of national character-ChineseYouth Volunteer Association has been established. After that, influenced by Hongkong andTaiwan, volunteer service idea, high speed period and voluntary service in China have beenstandardized. In addition, volunteer service vigorously spread at all levels of the Party andGovernment departments in Colleges and universities, enterprises, communities and otherdepartments. Volunteer service is extended to every field of people’s daily life, especiallywith the increasing aging. Voluntary service in the elderly services is becoming a moreimportant development branch.Zhangjiagang Jin Fengzhen "hand in hand with silver nest8+2" project is a volunteerservice case that combine service with the help of volunteer service. Based on the in-depthanalysis of the project, the old volunteer service theme, in the social support networktheory, group dynamics theory, proposed to establish a long-term mechanism to helpvolunteer service. Through in-depth analysis of the project and around the theme ofvolunteering to help the old, the theory of group dynamics perspective of social supportnetworks which help the old to establish long-term mechanism of voluntary service.Through this study, I wish that my paper may provide voluntary serviceexperience. At the same time, reference service guarantee in policy formulation and actionstrategies for the elderly service in China could be given, so as to further promote thepension service socialization process of our country.
