As we enter the21st century, peace and development are the two principlethemes in today’s world,however, under the influence of hegemonism and powerpolitics, more and more regional wars occur repeatedly caused by reasons such asresource competition and geographical advantage control. Meanwhile, with theleading of United States, the revolution in military affairs (RMA) is intensifyingworldwide, and becoming increasingly fierce. Influenced by RMA, the nationaldefense strategy of every country has profound changes; accordingly, the militaryindustry has been extensively impacted as well.This thesis obtains a unique research perspective, thinking big, starting small.Under the international background of RMA, the thesis analyzes and researches theeffects on a certain military enterprise. The author explains profound theory in asimple way, from far to near, from macro view to tiny view, to give the readers acomprehensive and systematic understanding of military enterprise developmentunder new military revolution background.This thesis firstly elaborates the characteristics and developing conditions ofRMA, as well as the impact on national development strategy and military enterprises.In the meantime, it makes a comparative analysis with the current situation of foreignmilitary industry, in order to draw inspiration to domestic military enterprisedevelopment. Secondly, based on the analysis of domestic military industry condition,the author proposes development strategy under RMA. Moreover, through SWOTanalysis, the author discusses the development strategy of No.764Factory in view ofthe research on current condition of the factory and new demand for weaponry ofRMA. Finally, the thesis concludes in the innovative summary and research prospects.In consideration of three main factors of enterprise development (demand andmarket, resource and competitor), the thesis makes a strategic construction for No.764Factory, proposing three main strategies, namely core strategy, resourceintegration and competition strategy, which is compared to three factors of force(direction, strength and functional point). In conclusion, the thesis applies a simplebut profound way to give readers an intuitive image of development strategy of No.764Factory under new military revolution background.
