| Russia is China’s largest neighbor, the development of relations between the two countries always plays a very important significance. Currently, Sino-Russian relation is at its best in history, both countries continue deepening cooperation in every area, especially in the construction of infrastructure, so appeared a large number of documents of design specification. However, there are many differences in some ways, in order to ensure the quality and timeliness of the project, it is necessary to guarantee the quality of translation.This translation practice report bases on the translation project of ―КС-200-06-К Russian railway design specifications‖, starting from background and purpose of the project, combining all aspects of the translation work, analyzes the characteristic and function of the project text; and then by using the Skopos theory, and appropriate translation skills; finally picking out the typical cases, encountered in the process of translation, and summarizing the problems such as improper translation appeared in the process of translation emphatically from the aspects such as vocabulary, sentence translation skills.The process of writing practice report is also the process of linking theory with practice.
