On The Translation Skills Of Russian Science And Technology Text From The Perspective Of Translation Strategy

With the increaement of the China’s national power and further development ofthe Reform and Opening up, the cooperations between China and neighbor countries,especially those of Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS),are getting closer inevery field. The scientific and technological communications represented by energyand mineral resources are much more frequent, thus scientific and technologicaltranslation plays an important role in it. The author translated part of Gold Mine inKirghizia and made summaries about the translation skills in the scientific andtechnological texts from the perspective of complete translation strategy.This translation practice report is consisted of three chapters: chapter1is abouttranslation standards and principles; chapter2tells us the conception andclassification of complete translation strategy; part3talks about the translation skillsof scientific and technological texts under the guidance of complete translationstrategy, taking Gold Mine in Kirghizia as an example, as well as some translationmethods used in the text, such as amplification, omission, division, combinedtranslation and conversion.
