Since the early 1980’s, “Journey to the West†has already been translated into Uyghur, and is popular among the Uyghur readers. The author studies the chapter headings of the Uyghur version of “Journey to the West†by Muhetaer Maihesuti from the aspect of translation strategies of the chapter heading with comprehensive factors including history, culture and religion, and analyses vocabulary involving person names, place names and Buddhism, thereby reducing the reader’s reading disorder of “Journey to the Westâ€. |
