Research On The Combination Form Of "Proper Noun + Common Noun" In Modern Chinese

This paper mainly investigates the form,semantic and pragmatic functions of the referent structure of modern Chinese "proper noun + common noun".The full text is divided into five parts.The first chapter of the introduction mainly introduces the purpose and significance of this study,the research object and content,the relevant research status,research methods and source of corpus and so on.The second chapter is about the research of the combination of "name class + job title class referring person noun".It is found through analysis that in the combination of "name + occupation/study title/military rank",different structures have their own limitations because of different job titles.In the structure "title category refers to person’s name + name",the rank,semantics,and pragmatic differences of each title in combination with the name,surname,and name are examined.The third chapter is the investigation of the combination form of "name class +identity class referring person noun",which is similar to the structure of "name +title".In the structure of "name + identity class referring person noun",the nouns of table identity are limited.Words of identity are summarized as follows:title referring human nouns,relationship referring human nouns,intimacy referring human nouns,slang referring human nouns,and integrated identities referring human nouns and name combinations.The fourth chapter is the analysis of the combination form of "name class +relatives referring human nouns".The classification of relatives is divided into relatives and pseudo-relatives.Preliminary conclusions are drawn on the rules of the combination of these two types of relatives and full names,surnames,and names.The fifth chapter discusses the referential function of "proper noun + common noun".The structure has the introduction function(introducing oneself introducing others),the interpersonal relationship indication function(relative relationship/power relationship/dynamic relationship of consistent relationship),the emotional indication function(positive emotion/negative emotion)and communicative motivation indicate function(close distance/distant distance).The epilogue summarizes each chapter of the main part of this article,draws conclusions and puts forward the deficiencies of the dissertation.
