Self-conscious emotion, also called self-evaluation emotion, is a complex emotion that is built on “self”, and it is of great importance to individual’s health, happiness and productivity. As the only one that has positive characteristic of emotion of all the self-conscious emotions, the pride attracts more and more attention over the years. The pride has two facts, namely hubristic pride and authentic pride. The difference of those two different kinds of pride lies in ways to attribution. Authentic Pride attributes success to unstable factors under their control while Hubristic Pride attributes that to stable factors beyond their control. It has been proved that the two facts of pride are existed. Researches show that authentic pride is usually related to prosocial behaviors and personalities while hubristic pride is more often related to negative acts and personalities. However researches on connections between different pride emotions and specific prosocial behaviors are barely seen. Will the cooperative behavior, the most common prosocial behavior, be affected from different pride emotions? This article is focused on effects that different pride emotions have on the implicit and explicit cooperative attitude and cooperative behaviors. Preliminary experiment: By means of self-made IAT of authentic pride and hubristic pride, we can test whether experimental games with different guidelines and feedbacks will induce subjects to make different attributions and evoke different pride emotions or not. The preliminary experiment can provide the follow-up experiments with ways to evoke emotions. Experiment One: Use the emotion evoking games in the preliminary experiment to evoke authentic pride of subjects in Group A and hubristic pride of subjects in Group H. Add a control Group C to investigate whether different pride emotions will have any effects on the implicit and explicit attitude of cooperation and cooperative behaviors. Experiment Two: Based on findings of Experiment One, Experiment Two continues to explore whether different pride emotions will have any effects on realistic cooperative behaviors. The results are as follows:(1) When playing the Hanoi tower Game, we can induce subjects to make different attributions by using different guidelines and feedbacks and can evoke subjects’ different pride emotions. The model that attributes success to efforts can evoke the subjects’ authentic pride while the model that attributes success to capabilities will evoke the subjects’ hubristic pride. The IAT of authentic pride and hubristic pride can measure subjects’ different pride emotions effectively.(2) The implicit and explicit cooperative attitude of authentic pride group is more positive than that of hubristic pride group. The implicit and explicit cooperative attitude of hubristic pride group is slightly more positive than that of control group. All of the subjects’ implicit and explicit cooperative attitude are positive and there is no association between the implicit attitude and the explicit attitude.(3) Authentic pride group shows more cooperative behaviors than hubristic pride group and control group. The cooperative rate of authentic pride group is 80%. hubristic pride group shows more cooperative behaviors than control group. The cooperative rate of control group is 50%. And the total cooperative is up to 63% which means more than half of the whole have showed cooperative behaviors.
