Research On Cui Zhenkuang’s Landscape Painting Artistic Style

Nowadays,Chinese landscape painting is continuing developed and reformed.Basicially, the era structure has been established, in which, Qi Baishi represents the Beijing painting branch; Huang Binhong, Pan Tianshan and Fu Boshi represent JinangZhe painting branch. Moreover, Changan painting branch is represented by Zhao Wangyuan and Shi Lu. Since all of these branches have their individual characteristics, Chinese landscape painting becomes colourful and glorious.As one of important branch, Changan painting branch represents a higher level of Chinese landscape painting in Northwest area in China. After stuying and researching the masters of Zhao Wangyuan, Shi Lu and Fang Ji, Cui Zhenkuan, as the leader of second generation of Changan branch, has stood out. The characteristics of his art works could be concluded as strong sence of life, spirit of age, forceful vigour and new view of art infection. The works from Cui Zhenkuan had been complemented by majority of paiting masters, audiences and theorists.Furthermore, his works not only make the art style in Chinese landscape painting colourful, leading a new direction for followers to explore and research,but also provide a dynamic, which lead the transformation of painting style from tranditional to modernise.Cui’sJiao Mo painting style would considered as one thing which has to be mentioned. This creative style has overcome the shortage, in which, painter’s work separted from the real life.Moreover, this style has inherited Chinese traditional culture and developed Chinese landscape painting.In conclusion, Cui Zhenkuan has combined different styles in Jiao Mo painting, Furthermore, he would be regarded as the innovator and inheritor of Chinese landscape painting.This research will focus on the study of Cui’s landscape painting art. After reviewing the research results from other scholars, this paper would start from studying Cui’s experience and education background. Combined with traditional culture, forum on art and the views from other artists, by utilizing the systematic theories and analysis methodology, the research of Cui’s original art would be conducted by a crosswise view. The structures of his art works and painting techniques would be involved in this research.The specific research includes that the establishing reasons and art theory of Cui’s landscape painting style; the characteristics of Cui’s landscape painting and the impacts on the Chinese landscape painting realm.
