A Research On Qatar From The Perspective Of Soft Power Construction

With the development of the country, soft power becomes the mark of national competitiveness, now more and more countries began to pay attention to the construction of soft power. As early as the 90’s, some scholars have pointed out that the country’s soft power is mainly reflected in the cultural, diplomatic and other aspects, the construction of a good foreign policy is an important part of national development. Each country has its own soft power, which is also an important part of the national construction. Soft power makes an important influence on the realization of the goal of national construction, and strengthens the understanding of the competitiveness of the country. In addition, a country’s image is also related to the soft power of a country’s understanding, the first is to determine the country’s soft power, good soft power is the embodiment of national competitiveness. In based on the related theory, the definition and role of soft power are described, and for Qatar in culture, education, foreign background to explore, analysis the Qatar soft power construction method and policy, points out the existing problems, and combining with the development status of Qatar, soft power construction method proposed in this paper, through the construction of soft power, is to improve Qatar’s influence in the world and for development of Qatar provide sustainable development, reduce the problem of national construction. This paper argues that Qatar will continue to strengthen on its soft power development, large country to participate in international affairs, strengthen cultural exchanges with other countries, and improve the relevant system and policy, can learn the methods for the construction of other developed countries, continue to promote their development. Hope that this paper can provide some constructive suggestions to the construction of the soft power of Qatar, but also strengthen their understanding of the country’s soft power.
