This paper selects four sets for students of Chinese language professional preparation of the modern literature teaching material: Jin Ge(2002) editor in chief of the Chinese modern literature anthology ", Ouyang Zhenren(2007) editor in chief of Chinese modern and contemporary literature history course, Zhang Lingxia(2008) editor in chief of" modern Chinese Literature Introduction ", Hu Jianjun(2013) editor in chief of" modern Chinese literature writers readings ", from the teaching material compilation principle, selection of articles included,writing style and so on three aspects of comparative study. Sum up the advantages and disadvantages of their own, in order to provide a reference for the preparation of foreign students literature.The study found that the four sets of textbooks compiling idea renewal is not enough, did not reflect on a theory is based on the teaching method of the tendency, also did not pay attention to the introduction of cultural communicative; text collected by the editor’s subjective factors influence larger of textbooks written the idea of implement of poor; writing style is basically sound, but grant in aid system of the plate to still need to be improve.In contrast, " modern Chinese literature writers readings " works more convenient for carrying out teaching activities.Based on the above conclusions, the author thinks that foreign students of modern literature textbooks should be updated with a modern literature textbook philosophy and reduce the influence of editor’s subjective factors on the text, style arrangement which conforms to the cognitive development of students, to the scientific teaching theory as the support.
