A Research Of The Insciptions On Bones

Variants are very important parts in Chinese Character. As the earliest and the most mature character, studying the insciptions on bones can help us know the earliest features of the variants and can help us do the study of the insciptions on bones system. In this paper we do complete study in the insciptions on bones relatively, in order to show the feature and the rule of the insciptions on bones in some degree.This paper can be divided into three parts. In the first part, we mainly discuss the definition of the insciptions on bones, pointing that variants are some characters that record the same word but they are different forms. But these forms must meet some conditions:1.their pronunciation and meaning must be the same 2.these forms have connections:they are familiar or they are variants. Meanwhile we card the study conditions of the insciptions on bones and this is the premise of our study. In the second part, we mainly analyze the types of the insciptions on bones and divide them in two types:different writings and heterogeneous words. There are two types in different writings, which are different writings of component and strokes. Heterogeneous words can be divided into three types:one is caused by the difference of the forms,one is caused by the difference of the configuration modes, and one is caused by shengfuxinghua. These types are an outline and there are more detailed types. In the third part, we analyze some insciptions on bones by examples.
